A collision led to DeLiRiuM F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Evtim Pamukov hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikifor Vardev got free with Rayko Tuykov in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikifor Vardev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rayko Tuykov came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikifor Vardev slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Rayko Tuykov made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Nikifor Vardev sent off a good shot on target. CSKA's Todor Slaveev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tencho Kamberski in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanoy Pishimarov was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Tencho Kamberski came free, but Todor Slaveev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 52 minutes, Nikifor Vardev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikifor Vardev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rayko Tuykov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikifor Vardev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Nikifor Vardev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rayko Tuykov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 minutes of play, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rayko Tuykov was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Svetlan Lazarov fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA's protests and gave Svetlan Lazarov a yellow card for diving instead. Todor Slaveev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanoy Pishimarov in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rayko Tuykov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikifor Vardev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rayko Tuykov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Nikifor Vardev took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rayko Tuykov. Rayko Tuykov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. CSKA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
