Arso Borachev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikifor Vardev, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arso Borachev. Arso Borachev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. CSKA's Nikifor Vardev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Nikifor Vardev took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arso Borachev to make any attempt to save it. In the 20th minute, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Nikifor Vardev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikifor Vardev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trendafil Mihalkov's late challenge caught a United Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trendafil Mihalkov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CSKA getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Trendafil Mihalkov hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arso Borachev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The CSKA fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when CSKA's Nikifor Vardev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arso Borachev made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Nikifor Vardev sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in United Team's zone, Nikifor Vardev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arso Borachev came out of the goal and Nikifor Vardev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, United Team's Arso Borachev got control of the ball when Nikifor Vardev tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikifor Vardev made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, CSKA's Nikifor Vardev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arso Borachev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind United Team's goalkeeper Arso Borachev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Nikifor Vardev sped through United Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arso Borachev. After 64 minutes, Nikifor Vardev made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. United Team's Arso Borachev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Nikifor Vardev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 minutes, Levent Panayotov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United Team and the CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Levent Panayotov kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Arso Borachev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikifor Vardev went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. If Artur Shelby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nikifor Vardev scored 11-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arso Borachev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arso Borachev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikifor Vardev in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in United Team's zone, Artur Shelby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arso Borachev came out of the goal and Artur Shelby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the United Team defense, Artur Shelby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arso Borachev. The United Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arso Borachev should have stopped the shot. United Team's Arso Borachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikifor Vardev in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Nikifor Vardev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arso Borachev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antim Kolyachev got free with Todor Slaveev in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CSKA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
