In the 8th minute Francisco Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biser Mihailov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biser Mihailov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Barreto in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolis Lazaridis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 叶军勇 saved ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Violet Skerlev in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 叶军勇 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biser Mihailov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erol Santika in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's goal looked a bit too open when Tolis Lazaridis came free, but 叶军勇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Biser Mihailov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolis Lazaridis in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lozan Skenderski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 叶军勇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolis Lazaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Biser Mihailov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mira Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's Teo Izotz got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Ivelin Rasolkov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 叶军勇 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lokomotiv Plovdiv reached it. Francisco Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Mira Colas made the kick off in the second half. Biser Mihailov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mira Colas's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Biser Mihailov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Barreto in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Kubrat Halachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biser Mihailov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Violet Skerlev struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. 叶军勇 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Biser Mihailov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Barreto in the 74th minute of play. Kubrat Halachev kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Violet Skerlev struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. 叶军勇 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Barreto in the 78th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kubrat Halachev hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Violet Skerlev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 叶军勇 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolis Lazaridis got free with 叶军勇 in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Violet Skerlev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's Kubrat Halachev got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's goalkeeper 叶军勇 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolis Lazaridis. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lokomotiv Plovdiv players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА.
