Veliko Mishkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Biser Mihailov having to make a save. Tolis Lazaridis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitan Nikolchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolis Lazaridis's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trifon Haydushki in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biser Mihailov saved Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting behind. United Team's Vitan Nikolchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolis Lazaridis in the 20th minute of play. Violet Skerlev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Nikolchev having to interfere. Tzeno Budakov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Sochacki in the 25th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, United Team's Vitan Nikolchev got control of the ball when Tolis Lazaridis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Kondov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitan Nikolchev was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugeniusz Sochacki during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to United Team getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eugeniusz Sochacki hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Tolis Lazaridis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. United Team's Vitan Nikolchev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Biser Mihailov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Sochacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Vitan Nikolchev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Violet Skerlev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veliko Mishkov in the 45th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolis Lazaridis to strike the kick off in the second half. Vitan Nikolchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Violet Skerlev, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Tolis Lazaridis put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitan Nikolchev. 69 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veliko Mishkov. In the 73rd match minute, United Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Haydushki to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Tolis Lazaridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, one of United Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vitan Nikolchev had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivelin Rasolkov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bogdan Kondov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Kondov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitan Nikolchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Biser Mihailov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trifon Haydushki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. United Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stoil Krulev in the 85th minute. The corner led United Team's Trifon Haydushki to fire away a dangerous shot which Biser Mihailov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Veliko Mishkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Biser Mihailov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Violet Skerlev in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitan Nikolchev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, United Team's Biser Mihailov threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Trifon Haydushki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
