The audience thought a goal was coming when Rico Gulatz got free with Douglas Ramsey in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Afşin Keykubad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Ramsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
