The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Velcho Tzintzov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sava Hvoynev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rico Gulatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sava Hvoynev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velcho Tzintzov in the 19th minute of play. Sava Hvoynev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prodan Piyanechki in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC MANCHESTER CITY defense, Velcho Tzintzov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sava Hvoynev. The FC MANCHESTER CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sava Hvoynev should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC MANCHESTER CITY! Sava Hvoynev came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Liverpool's Tzonko Roev. But to his dismay, Tzonko Roev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fernando Raffo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşin Keykubad in the 37th minute of the match. FC MANCHESTER CITY's Sava Hvoynev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prodan Piyanechki in the 40th minute of play. Velcho Tzintzov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sava Hvoynev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of FC Liverpool:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC MANCHESTER CITY:s goal. FC Liverpool:s Fernando Raffo showed great skill when he stopped Rico Gulatz:s penalty. Rico Gulatz scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Raffo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stayko Gúlov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Prodan Piyanechki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sava Hvoynev made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, FC Liverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Afşin Keykubad came free, but Fernando Raffo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC MANCHESTER CITY getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Borislav Kandov hit a great ball. The supporters of FC MANCHESTER CITY booed when FC Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzonko Roev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Hammervold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Raffo. FC Liverpool's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Liverpool's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
