PFK Beroe's Lulcho Nanyov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zlatin Ibrishimov, made in the 43rd minute of the game. The CSKA Vladimirtsi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PFK Beroe were winning 0-1.

A collision led to CSKA Vladimirtsi getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Casomiro Gamez hit a great ball. Diyan Kúrdzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 尤扬宁 in the 55th minute of play. Diyan Kúrdzhiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Deshov's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Stefan Deshov charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Deshov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the PFK Beroe and the CSKA Vladimirtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CSKA Vladimirtsi lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
