Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Sava Chuchev made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Laziali's zone, Øyvind Skoglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avgustin Yochev came out of the goal and Øyvind Skoglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avgustin Yochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sava Chuchev in the 16th minute of the match. Avgustin Yochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sava Chuchev in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laziali's Rostislav Filchovski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thomas Sørensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Rix's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Thomas Sørensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Rix in the 27th minute of play. Avgustin Yochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sava Chuchev in the 29th minute of the match. When Yngve Johnstad fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grivata's protests and gave Yngve Johnstad a yellow card for diving instead. Yngve Johnstad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Eero Grönholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Grivata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eero Grönholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Velichko Shindarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Sørensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Vitomir Piralkov. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Thomas Rix made the kick off in the second half. Avgustin Yochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetoslav Serdev in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Kosta Kúnov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleko Kamberski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen got control of the ball when Kosta Kúnov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laziali's goalkeeper Avgustin Yochev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Sørensen was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Thomas Rix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Rix really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 70th minute, Rayko Tzonkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avgustin Yochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetoslav Serdev in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Laziali's Kosta Kúnov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Sørensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ramiro da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thomas Sørensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Sava Chuchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sava Chuchev in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avgustin Yochev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laziali's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Øyvind Skoglund was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Grivata's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tzvetoslav Serdev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Avgustin Yochev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute, Sava Chuchev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Grivata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
