Spectators: 8065 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrey Aragvsky started the match with the kick off. Arsen Kikalishvili charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsen Kikalishvili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Harvard University getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arsen Kikalishvili hit a great ball. Bukhuti Cholokaev came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverno Brothers's Filipp Nad. But to his dismay, Filipp Nad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mindia Andrzheevskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bukhuti Cholokaev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Okhoropir Jandieri hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Harvard University got a freekick which was hit by Arsen Kikalishvili. In the 32nd minute of the match Liverno Brothers got a corner. Harvard University's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Goderdzi Pulishvili ran over to the corner to take the kick. Goderdzi Pulishvili made a great header on Liverno Brothers's corner, it was just that Harvard University's Bukhuti Cholokaev managed to reach the ball for a save. Bukhuti Cholokaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mindia Andrzheevskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Liverno Brothers booed when Harvard University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bidzina Gadaevi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Amiran Burduli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mindia Andrzheevskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. Filipp Nad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bukhuti Cholokaev having to interfere. Filipp Nad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mindia Andrzheevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipp Nad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bukhuti Cholokaev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Filipp Nad kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bukhuti Cholokaev made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Filipp Nad sent off a good shot on target. If Mindia Andrzheevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipp Nad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bukhuti Cholokaev having to interfere. Mindia Andrzheevskiy struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bukhuti Cholokaev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverno Brothers. In the 89th minute, Andrey Aragvsky made a precise shot to the right of Takha Abesadze. Liverno Brothers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
