The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khobuli Bitsadze during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alsager booed when Geographer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khobuli Bitsadze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djojiki Robakidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djojiki Labadze having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Dimitry Pachalia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alsager's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitry Pachalia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Khobuli Bitsadze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Alsager were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitry Pachalia made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Djojiki Robakidze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Liparit Jachvadze hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Djojiki Robakidze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Djojiki Labadze made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alsager's goalkeeper Okhoropir Tsitsishvili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Dimitry Pachalia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Djojiki Labadze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 93 played minutes Alsager got a freekick which was hit by Shavleg Zabelin. Djojiki Labadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitry Pachalia in the 98th minute of the match. Djojiki Robakidze might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Djojiki Labadze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Djojiki Robakidze ran back to his position shaking his head.
