Jarji Levidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoly Sagharadze having to interfere. Sese Salia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sese Salia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bukhuti Goloviznin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukhum Andrzheevskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anatoly Sagharadze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarji Levidze went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lukhum Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bukhuti Goloviznin in the 30th minute of play. Roland Sordia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lukhum Andrzheevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatoly Gabelia took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anatoly Sagharadze . Anatoly Sagharadze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Sherborne FC's Anatoly Gabelia got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Jarji Levidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoly Gabelia in the 47th minute of play forced Binsted FC's goalkeeper Anatoly Sagharadze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anatoly Gabelia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
