Blackpool's Tshalkhia Mkheidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Sordia in the 25th minute of play. Beka Shalikashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sese Gvaramadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Botchia Arveladze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beka Shalikashvili was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Pavel Sordia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Pavel Sordia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tshalkhia Mkheidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nodar Goraniskov charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nodar Goraniskov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Blackpool getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nodar Goraniskov hit a great ball. Dato Aragvsky kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Iveri Milakiev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Iveri Milakiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tshalkhia Mkheidze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iveri Milakiev's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Blackpool got a freekick which was hit by Dato Aragvsky. Tshalkhia Mkheidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iveri Milakiev in the 53rd minute of the match. When Mirian Dzotsenidze fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orsett's protests and gave Mirian Dzotsenidze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Orsett's Mirian Dzotsenidze got a free kick in the 58th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Iveri Milakiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tshalkhia Mkheidze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blackpool's Tshalkhia Mkheidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iveri Milakiev in the 71st minute of play. Pavel Sordia succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Nodar Goraniskov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Pavel Sordia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tshalkhia Mkheidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botchia Arveladze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beka Shalikashvili came out and tried to block the shot, but Botchia Arveladze slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 84th minute. If Iveri Milakiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blackpool eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
