The supporters of Yate FC booed when Malton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egos Dzotsenidze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Zviadi Dzotsenidze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yate FC's Ignatiy Sordia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yate FC's Ignatiy Sordia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Yate FC from getting a goal against them. Ignatiy Sordia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zviadi Dzotsenidze in the 10th minute of play. Jaba Aragvsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Laverick having to interfere. If Jarji Alania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daryl Laverick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarji Alania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolaj Gogava got free with Ignatiy Sordia in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zviadi Dzotsenidze struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ignatiy Sordia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malton. 31 minutes into the match, Malton's goal looked a bit too open when Jaba Aragvsky came free, but Daryl Laverick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nikolaj Gogava managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malton's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolaj Gogava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignatiy Sordia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Zviadi Dzotsenidze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignatiy Sordia. Zviadi Dzotsenidze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaba Aragvsky was the one to do the kick off. Gogita Shalikashvili tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Daryl Laverick. The audience was convinced that Nikolaj Gogava's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignatiy Sordia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Yate FC's Jarji Alania in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Daryl Laverick guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Yate FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
