Zviadi Dzotsenidze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bondo Pachalia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Zviadi Dzotsenidze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beka Aragvsky. Crinkley Bottom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zviadi Dzotsenidze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Zviadi Dzotsenidze struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Beka Aragvsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malton. When Nukri Paghava fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crinkley Bottom's protests and gave Nukri Paghava a yellow card for diving instead. Bukhuti Mkheidze hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Zviadi Dzotsenidze came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Malton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zviadi Dzotsenidze couldn't finish the play. If Nikolaj Gogava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zviadi Dzotsenidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Beka Aragvsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zviadi Dzotsenidze to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Nodari Pilievi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crinkley Bottom and the Malton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nodari Pilievi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Crinkley Bottom's Beka Aragvsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Crinkley Bottom from getting a goal against them. Zviadi Dzotsenidze got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Beka Aragvsky handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Zviadi Dzotsenidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beka Aragvsky having to interfere. Bondo Pachalia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daryl Laverick having to make a save. 68 minutes into the game, Loukianos Giotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crinkley Bottom the free kick. Bondo Pachalia struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. A collision led to Malton getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Egos Dzotsenidze hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kakhi Gabelia in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daryl Laverick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malton were furious when Sachino Gogava was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 84 minutes into the game, one of Malton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bondo Pachalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Daryl Laverick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crinkley Bottom's Kakhi Gabelia managed to work through Malton's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kakhi Gabelia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Nikolaj Gogava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beka Aragvsky having to interfere. A collision led to Malton getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Dimitry Sulaberidze hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crinkley Bottom had won after a very even match.
