When Nodar Gabelia came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Knaresborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nodar Gabelia couldn't finish the play. Nodar Gabelia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Kennington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeri Sulaberidze to maneuver through the defense. Nikolaj Gadaevi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Roman Nad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikhail Andrzheevskiy during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Knaresborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Andrzheevskiy to maneuver through the defense. Anatoly Kikalishvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nodari Tsitsishvili in the 22nd minute of play. Anatoly Kikalishvili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nodari Tsitsishvili's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes Knaresborough got a freekick which was hit by Paata Topnikov. Nodari Tsitsishvili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatoly Kikalishvili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Shota Paghava was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kakhi Lekov kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Knaresborough defense, Nikolaj Gadaevi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Nad. The Knaresborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Nad should have stopped the shot. After 41 played minutes Kennington United got a freekick which was hit by Shota Paghava. After having played for 45 minutes, Nodari Tsitsishvili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knaresborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nodari Tsitsishvili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nodar Gabelia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoly Kikalishvili having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nodar Gabelia was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Nodar Gabelia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kennington United's Anatoly Kikalishvili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nodari Tsitsishvili could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Anatoly Kikalishvili however easily saved by the left post. Shota Paghava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Nad having to interfere. Knaresborough's Roman Nad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shota Paghava in the 62nd minute of play. If Nikolaj Gadaevi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennington United's Nikolaj Gadaevi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kennington United's Shota Paghava got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anatoly Kikalishvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nodari Tsitsishvili in the 73rd minute. Knaresborough's Roman Nad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shota Paghava in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Kennington United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Giorgi Dzotsenidze hit a great ball. Roman Nad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shota Paghava in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Nodar Gabelia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatoly Kikalishvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgi Dzotsenidze 's late challenge caught a Knaresborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgi Dzotsenidze helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kennington United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Anatoly Kikalishvili had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Arsen Alania's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Knaresborough's Roland Mamporia got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Kennington United's Taka Magalov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roman Nad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kennington United reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Kennington United's goalkeeper Anatoly Kikalishvili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nodari Tsitsishvili. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nodari Tsitsishvili got free with Anatoly Kikalishvili in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nodari Tsitsishvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennington United's Nikolaj Gadaevi got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shota Paghava in the 99th minute of play forced Knaresborough's goalkeeper Roman Nad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shota Paghava scored 2-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Nad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kennington United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Knaresborough for a fine match.
