Bukhuti Khatiashvili started the match with the kick off. Bulkington's Merdan Levidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gia Lekov in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avtandil Topnikov during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Avtandil Topnikov kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Bukhuti Khatiashvili notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buckfast Abbey City's Roland Sordia. Roland Sordia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Sordia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avtandil Topnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Gia Lekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Illarion Jachvadze got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Illarion Jachvadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Merdan Levidze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dato Pawletko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illarion Anghelache hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Buckfast Abbey City got a freekick which was hit by Illarion Anghelache. 37 minutes into the match, Bulkington's Dato Pawletko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Sordia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Dato Pawletko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Sordia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 47th minute Bukhuti Khatiashvili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Sordia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Bulkington were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gia Lekov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Buckfast Abbey City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dato Pawletko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Bulkington getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aydin Goloviznin hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Bukhuti Khatiashvili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bukhuti Khatiashvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Buckfast Abbey City getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kvarkvare Dzotsenidze hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Dato Pawletko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Sordia. Buckfast Abbey City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dato Pawletko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Avtandil Topnikov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Avtandil Topnikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gia Lekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Bukhuti Khatiashvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Buckfast Abbey City's Roland Sordia got control of the ball when Dato Pawletko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tshalkhia Podolyakin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Sordia having to interfere. When Dato Pawletko came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bulkington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dato Pawletko couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Bukhuti Khatiashvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bulkington played a much better game than Buckfast Abbey City and deserved their victory. The Buckfast Abbey City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
