The audience thought a goal was coming when Nodar Zabelin got free with Valeri Alania in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Vaja Kikalishvili managed to get in a good position for a shot. University of Toronto's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaja Kikalishvili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shota Gagnidze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shota Gagnidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaba Dzotsenidze, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bradford on Avon United's goal looked a bit too open when Jaba Dzotsenidze came free, but Shota Gagnidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Bradford on Avon United's goal looked a bit too open when Vaja Kikalishvili came free, but Shota Gagnidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Valeri Alania managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Bradford on Avon United's Nodar Zabelin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Vaja Kikalishvili came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the University of Toronto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaja Kikalishvili couldn't finish the play. Shota Gagnidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaba Dzotsenidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nodar Zabelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeri Alania having to make a save. If Valeri Podolyakin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. University of Toronto's Valeri Alania proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save University of Toronto from getting a goal against them. Valeri Podolyakin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nodar Zabelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Valeri Alania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. University of Toronto's Valeri Alania played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeri Podolyakin in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Jaba Dzotsenidze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaja Kikalishvili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nodar Zabelin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Valeri Alania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford on Avon United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nodar Zabelin in the 55th minute of play forced University of Toronto's goalkeeper Valeri Alania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeri Podolyakin took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeri Alania. Valeri Alania dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. University of Toronto's Valeri Alania played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeri Podolyakin in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to University of Toronto getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sese Aragvsky hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, University of Toronto's goal looked a bit too open when Nodar Zabelin came free, but Valeri Alania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Nodar Zabelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeri Alania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sese Aragvsky kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Bradford on Avon United's Valeri Podolyakin in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye University of Toronto's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Nodar Zabelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bradford on Avon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nodar Zabelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shota Gagnidze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaba Dzotsenidze in the 79th minute. Shota Gagnidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaja Kikalishvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes University of Toronto got a freekick which was hit by Roland Gogava. University of Toronto's Jaba Dzotsenidze got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bradford on Avon United's Valeri Podolyakin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Valeri Podolyakin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Valeri Alania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford on Avon United. Valeri Alania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nodar Zabelin in the 92nd minute of the match. Valeri Podolyakin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradford on Avon United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
