The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Botchia Milakiev fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlow FC's protests and gave Botchia Milakiev a yellow card for diving instead. Botchia Milakiev hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Bebur Aragvsky was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 9th minute, Goderdzi Gadaevi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halstead fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valiko Podolyakin during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Marlow FC got a freekick which was hit by Valiko Podolyakin. Emiriev Jandieri took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Goderdzi Bitsadze. Goderdzi Bitsadze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marlow FC's Davit Gabelia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goderdzi Bitsadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goderdzi Gadaevi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marlow FC's zone, Emiriev Jandieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goderdzi Bitsadze came out of the goal and Emiriev Jandieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes Marlow FC got a freekick which was hit by Illarion Shalikashvili. Halstead's Goderdzi Gadaevi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bebur Aragvsky hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Halstead getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kvarkvare Mkheidze hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiriev Jandieri in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goderdzi Bitsadze saved Marlow FC from getting behind. Goderdzi Bitsadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiriev Jandieri in the 41st minute of the match. Vadim Sulakvidze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tshalkhia Gadaevi made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Davit Gabelia sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiriev Jandieri made a kick off. Emiriev Jandieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goderdzi Gadaevi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Goderdzi Bitsadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Halstead booed when Marlow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiko Podolyakin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlow FC's Goderdzi Bitsadze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Marlow FC from getting a goal against them. Vadim Sulakvidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tshalkhia Gadaevi having to interfere. Vadim Sulakvidze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vadim Sulakvidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tshalkhia Gadaevi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Goderdzi Gadaevi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vadim Sulakvidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tshalkhia Gadaevi having to interfere. Emiriev Jandieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vadim Sulakvidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tshalkhia Gadaevi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vadim Sulakvidze in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tshalkhia Gadaevi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 89 minutes, Vadim Sulakvidze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vadim Sulakvidze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
