An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaja Kikalishvili in the 13th minute of play forced Blewbury's goalkeeper Valeri Londaridze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeri Londaridze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaba Dzotsenidze in the 16th minute of the match. When Botchia Levidze came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Blewbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Botchia Levidze couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Blewbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tsotne Mingrelsky to maneuver through the defense. Vaja Kikalishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Blewbury got a freekick which was hit by Vano Goraniskov. With a little luck, University of Toronto's Valeri Alania got control of the ball when Torgva Pozharskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jaba Dzotsenidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Botchia Levidze made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Torgva Pozharskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blewbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgva Pozharskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeri Alania breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Botchia Levidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeri Alania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Botchia Levidze in the 57th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, University of Toronto's Valeri Londaridze threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vaja Kikalishvili, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute Botchia Levidze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeri Alania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeri Alania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgva Pozharskiy in the 67th minute of the match. Jaba Dzotsenidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeri Londaridze having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaja Kikalishvili kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valeri Londaridze. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. Vaja Kikalishvili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valeri Londaridze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torgva Pozharskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sese Aragvsky hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Sese Aragvsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Blewbury's Vano Goraniskov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Torgva Pozharskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valeri Alania showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Botchia Levidze, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jaba Dzotsenidze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeri Londaridze having to make a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
