Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gia Pozharskiy started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Amor Patriae booed when Harrogate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Botchia Pozharskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nukri Urushadze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Machaidze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Harrogate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dato Kikalishvili. 13 minutes into the game, Shavleg Tsitsishvili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roman Machaidze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Shavleg Tsitsishvili sped through Harrogate FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Machaidze. Shavleg Tsitsishvili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Machaidze having to interfere. Merab Mkheidze's late challenge caught a Amor Patriae's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merab Mkheidze helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Harrogate FC got a freekick which was hit by Merab Mkheidze. Andrey Aragvsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Aragvsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldar Abesadze having to interfere. Gia Pozharskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrey Aragvsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Eldar Abesadze made a huge save. Eldar Abesadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gia Pozharskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andrey Aragvsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eldar Abesadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eldar Abesadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gia Pozharskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Nukri Urushadze fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roman Machaidze made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Shavleg Tsitsishvili sent off a good shot on target. Botchia Pozharskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Djvebe Paghava was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gia Pozharskiy took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eldar Abesadze. Eldar Abesadze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dato Kikalishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eldar Abesadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gia Pozharskiy in the 82nd minute of the match. When Gia Pozharskiy came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Harrogate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gia Pozharskiy couldn't finish the play. Harrogate FC's Andrey Aragvsky got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrey Aragvsky might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eldar Abesadze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrey Aragvsky ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Harrogate FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
