After a rather tough play, Croyde AFC's Tsotne Cholokaev got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 24th minute Sachino Babadishev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipp Mingrelsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merdan Kobiashvili's late challenge caught a Croyde AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merdan Kobiashvili helped the player get up and apologised. Akim Bitsadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khvicha Beroshvili in the 33rd minute of the match. Akim Bitsadze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khvicha Beroshvili in the 35th minute of play. Medani's Akim Bitsadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khvicha Beroshvili in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kakhi Alania got free with Akim Bitsadze in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes, Pavel Sordia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medani and the Croyde AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Medani! Botchia Anghelache shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

57 minutes into the match, Medani's goal looked a bit too open when Kakhi Alania came free, but Akim Bitsadze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medani's Akim Bitsadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khvicha Beroshvili in the 59th minute of play. Tsotne Cholokaev kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Sachino Babadishev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medani's Merdan Kobiashvili got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Croyde AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pavel Bitsadze hit a great ball. If Khvicha Beroshvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kakhi Alania in the 75th minute of play forced Medani's goalkeeper Akim Bitsadze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Sachino Babadishev notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Croyde AFC's Filipp Mingrelsky. Filipp Mingrelsky was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute of the match, Merdan Kobiashvili got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filipp Mingrelsky was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Akim Bitsadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kakhi Alania in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Medani's Bichiko Gvaramadze got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nukri Robakidze hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Valeri Pawletko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sachino Babadishev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Mingrelsky having to interfere. After 96 played minutes, Croyde AFC's Botchia Anghelache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Akim Bitsadze came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Croyde AFC reached it. 99 minutes into the game, Nukri Robakidze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Akim Bitsadze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Croyde AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Medani had controlled the match.
