Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sachino Londaridze took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andrey Andrzheevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egos Lekov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Andrzheevskiy in the 17th minute. Taka Londaridze kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sachino Londaridze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sachino Londaridze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egos Lekov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Vano Kikalishvili hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Andrey Andrzheevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mikhail Khatiashvili kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Braintree's Egos Lekov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Braintree from getting a goal against them. Valiko Andrzheevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarji Shalikashvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Jarji Shalikashvili made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, East Cowes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beka Londaridze to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th play minute Taka Londaridze came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valiko Andrzheevskiy. 0-2. 63 minutes into the match, East Cowes's Sachino Londaridze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egos Lekov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sachino Londaridze in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egos Lekov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikhail Khatiashvili charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikhail Khatiashvili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Braintree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Khatiashvili to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Braintree getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Teimuraz Neparidze hit a great ball. Andrey Andrzheevskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Egos Lekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valiko Andrzheevskiy made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Taka Londaridze sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, East Cowes's Amiran Pilievi got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes Braintree got a freekick which was hit by Merab Magalov. Taka Londaridze took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valiko Andrzheevskiy. Valiko Andrzheevskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Taka Londaridze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see East Cowes lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
