Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarji Shalikashvili started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Braintree's zone, Djojiki Machaidze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egos Lekov came out of the goal and Djojiki Machaidze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Mindia Bitsadze put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Egos Lekov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taka Londaridze got free with Dato Andrzheevskiy in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, F.C. BLAUGRANA's goalkeeper Dato Andrzheevskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taka Londaridze. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarji Shalikashvili in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dato Andrzheevskiy saved F.C. BLAUGRANA from getting behind. Nodari Dzotsenidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Egos Lekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. BLAUGRANA's Dato Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. BLAUGRANA from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Braintree's goal looked a bit too open when Djojiki Machaidze came free, but Egos Lekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, F.C. BLAUGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Jarji Shalikashvili came free, but Dato Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egos Lekov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mindia Bitsadze to make the kick off. Teimuraz Jandieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mindia Bitsadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute of the match, Teimuraz Jandieri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egos Lekov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. It was a penalty for F.C. BLAUGRANA! Dato Andrzheevskiy had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Djvebe Levidze's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nodari Dzotsenidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Egos Lekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mindia Bitsadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mindia Bitsadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dato Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taka Londaridze in the 96th minute of play. In the 99th minute, F.C. BLAUGRANA's Djojiki Machaidze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. F.C. BLAUGRANA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
