Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bebur Gabelia made the kick off and thus started the match. Khudji Sulaberidze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mindia Tsitsishvili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Tsotne Chebaevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bebur Gabelia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taverham's supporters rose to their feet, but Bebur Gabelia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mindia Tsitsishvili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Workington getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Roman Abesadze hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Djvebe Andrzheevskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mindia Tsitsishvili skillfully saved the ball. Jondo Goloviznin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jondo Pilievi. Jondo Pilievi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Illarion Nad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jondo Pilievi. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute, one of Taverham:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taverham. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Workington's Jaba Machaidze got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jondo Pilievi. Roman Abesadze charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Abesadze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Workington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Abesadze to maneuver through the defense. Mindia Tsitsishvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebur Gabelia in the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Illarion Nad made the kick off in the second half. Jondo Goloviznin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jondo Pilievi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Workington. In the 54th minute, Nukri Goraniskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mindia Tsitsishvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoly Burduli, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Taverham getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nukri Goraniskov hit a great ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Workington's goalkeeper Mindia Tsitsishvili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Mindia Tsitsishvili managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Taverham's Khudji Sulaberidze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Khudji Sulaberidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mindia Tsitsishvili having to interfere. The Taverham fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Taverham's Bebur Gabelia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 78 played minutes Taverham got a freekick which was hit by Nukri Goraniskov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Illarion Nad in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jondo Pilievi saved Taverham from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Workington's zone, Khudji Sulaberidze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mindia Tsitsishvili came out of the goal and Khudji Sulaberidze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mindia Tsitsishvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebur Gabelia in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaba Machaidze in the 98th minute of play forced Taverham's goalkeeper Jondo Pilievi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Workington were victorious despite being under pressure from Taverham for much of the match.
