Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Uta Gagnidze got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Anatoly Kikalishvili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mxedrioni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rioni Kutaisi AFC the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Anatoly Kikalishvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mirian Abesadze charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirian Abesadze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Mxedrioni got a freekick which was hit by Mirian Abesadze. After a rather tough play, Rioni Kutaisi AFC's Beka Sagharadze got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Uta Gagnidze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mxedrioni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uta Gagnidze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mxedrioni's Mirian Abesadze quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bukhuti Mingrelsky, made in the 16th minute of the game. Naskhida Sulaberidze came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Mxedrioni's Anatoly Kikalishvili. But to his dismay, Anatoly Kikalishvili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Mxedrioni booed when Rioni Kutaisi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaba Chebaevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Mxedrioni were awarded a corner. Archil Pulishvili went to the cornerflag to take it. Mxedrioni's Archil Pulishvili was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Naskhida Sulaberidze in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tsotne Pozharskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Andrey Mkheidze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Mxedrioni's Andrey Mkheidze got control of the ball when Gia Gogava tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naskhida Sulaberidze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uta Gagnidze went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Naskhida Sulaberidze came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Mxedrioni's Uta Gagnidze. But to his dismay, Uta Gagnidze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Naskhida Sulaberidze made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Anatoly Kikalishvili sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Mxedrioni got a freekick which was hit by Uta Gagnidze. Andrey Mkheidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsen Jandieri in the 65th minute of the match. Bukhuti Mingrelsky hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Anatoly Kikalishvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uta Gagnidze's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Naskhida Sulaberidze firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arsen Jandieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Rioni Kutaisi AFC's goalkeeper Naskhida Sulaberidze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uta Gagnidze. Rioni Kutaisi AFC's Beka Sagharadze suffered a concussion after 94 minutes and had to leave the field. During the 94th minute of the match Mirian Abesadze completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mirian Abesadze a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arsen Jandieri scored 1-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrey Mkheidze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mxedrioni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
