The referee showed Filipp Lekov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Workington getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Filipp Lekov hit a great ball. Workington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Sabir Gvaramadze scored to the left of an out of position Mindia Tsitsishvili, making the score, 1-0. Djondo Milakiev's late challenge caught a Workington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djondo Milakiev helped the player get up and apologised. Djondo Milakiev kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabir Gvaramadze in the 24th minute of play forced Workington's goalkeeper Mindia Tsitsishvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgia Football Club's Valiko Sulaberidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Illarion Nad in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Georgia Football Club's Sachino Nad got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jondo Goloviznin in the 34th minute of play forced Georgia Football Club's goalkeeper Valiko Sulaberidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Workington got a freekick which was hit by Illarion Nad. 43 minutes into the match, Workington's Illarion Nad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valiko Sulaberidze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Illarion Nad made a kick off. Jondo Goloviznin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 54th playminute. Illarion Nad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Sulaberidze having to interfere. Sachino Nad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipp Lekov kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Sabir Gvaramadze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Abesadze hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sachino Nad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Workington's Bondo Mingrelsky got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sabir Gvaramadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jondo Goloviznin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Sulaberidze having to interfere. Sabir Gvaramadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mindia Tsitsishvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mindia Tsitsishvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabir Gvaramadze in the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Sachino Nad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mindia Tsitsishvili. Workington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sachino Nad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Georgia Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
