Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Hove AFC's Gia Sagharadze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Nikolaj Gvaramadze fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GAGRA's protests and gave Nikolaj Gvaramadze a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Naskhida Pozharskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hove AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naskhida Pozharskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Archil Jachvadze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Naskhida Pozharskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukhum Jandieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naskhida Pozharskiy's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Naskhida Pozharskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukhum Jandieri having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC GAGRA's zone, Naskhida Pozharskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukhum Jandieri came out of the goal and Naskhida Pozharskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lukhum Jandieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gia Sagharadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the FC GAGRA defense, Gia Sagharadze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukhum Jandieri. The FC GAGRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukhum Jandieri should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, Hove AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djoto Levidze to maneuver through the defense. Archil Jachvadze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolaj Gvaramadze in the 31st minute. Semen Topnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gia Sagharadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukhum Jandieri having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipp Sulaberidze was the one to do the kick off. Filipp Sulaberidze struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Archil Jachvadze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GAGRA. Djoto Levidze hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Naskhida Pozharskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gia Sagharadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gia Sagharadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC GAGRA defense, Naskhida Pozharskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukhum Jandieri. In the 86th minute, Naskhida Pozharskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naskhida Pozharskiy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 88th playminute. Naskhida Pozharskiy kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC GAGRA's keeper Lukhum Jandieri was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lukhum Jandieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gia Sagharadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Semen Topnikov struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Lukhum Jandieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hove AFC. Hove AFC played a much better game than FC GAGRA and deserved their victory. The FC GAGRA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
