The referee ignored Mormont's protests and gave Arsen Robakidze a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mormont getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Arsen Robakidze hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Mormont's goal looked a bit too open when Taka Andrzheevskiy came free, but Vano Bitsadze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okhoropir Londaridze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Vano Bitsadze made a huge save. Vano Bitsadze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taka Andrzheevskiy went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes of play, FC BARCELONA's Ivan Arnăuțoiu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vano Bitsadze was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Ivan Arnăuțoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taka Andrzheevskiy to make the kick off. Vano Bitsadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taka Andrzheevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ivan Arnăuțoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vano Bitsadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Okhoropir Londaridze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vano Bitsadze was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that FC BARCELONA were the better team. FC BARCELONA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
