The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsen Robakidze got free with Tshalkhia Londaridze in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Vladimir Gogava dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tshalkhia Londaridze, 3-0. After 38 played minutes Arsen Robakidze rounded Godmanchester's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uta Paghava during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Godmanchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uta Paghava to maneuver through the defense. Merdan Jandieri's late challenge caught a Mormont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Godmanchester's Tshalkhia Londaridze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Burduli in the 52nd minute of play. Tshalkhia Londaridze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Burduli's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Godmanchester got a freekick which was hit by Merdan Jandieri. Tshalkhia Londaridze came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Mormont's Arsen Robakidze. But to his dismay, Arsen Robakidze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Tshalkhia Londaridze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsen Robakidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Archil Abesadze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mormont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Godmanchester the free kick. A collision led to Mormont getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Archil Abesadze hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arsen Robakidze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mormont's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsen Robakidze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tshalkhia Londaridze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uta Paghava kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Marat Labadze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsen Robakidze scored 6-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tshalkhia Londaridze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Mormont got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Gogava.
