Mindia Shalikashvili might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vadim Anghelache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mindia Shalikashvili ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 minutes of play, Godmanchester's Ignatiy Sulaberidze made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 37th minute Dimitry Jachvadze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tshalkhia Londaridze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Godmanchester booed when Weybridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khvicha Bitsadze didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Dimitry Jachvadze put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tshalkhia Londaridze. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitry Jachvadze made a kick off. If Kakhi Bitsadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Weybridge's Vadim Anghelache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Weybridge from getting a goal against them. Ignatiy Sulaberidze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Vadim Anghelache made a huge save. Kakhi Bitsadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tshalkhia Londaridze having to interfere. A collision led to Godmanchester getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Goderdzi Gabelia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitry Jachvadze in the 89th minute of play forced Godmanchester's goalkeeper Tshalkhia Londaridze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
