The audience was convinced that Emiriev Burduli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gia Milakiev was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Thamesmead's Valeri Gvaramadze got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Vaja Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gia Milakiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Thamesmead getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emiriev Milakiev hit a great ball. Gia Milakiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiriev Burduli in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Thamesmead defense, Vaja Arveladze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gia Milakiev. The Thamesmead fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gia Milakiev should have stopped the shot. Thamesmead's Gia Milakiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaja Arveladze in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Vaja Arveladze made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Thamesmead's Gia Milakiev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Thamesmead's Emiriev Milakiev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 38 played minutes Hayes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukhum Arveladze. Hayes FC's Irakli Urushadze suffered a concussion after 38 minutes and had to leave the field. Emiriev Milakiev charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiriev Milakiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Thamesmead getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Emiriev Milakiev hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Emiriev Burduli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hayes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiriev Burduli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gia Milakiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gia Milakiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaja Arveladze in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gia Londaridze was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Vaja Arveladze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thamesmead's Gia Milakiev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gia Milakiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaja Arveladze in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Lukhum Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gia Milakiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vaja Arveladze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Lukhum Arveladze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hayes FC's Lukhum Arveladze got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vaja Arveladze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Milakiev having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaja Arveladze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gia Milakiev. That made the score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. Vaja Arveladze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Milakiev having to interfere. Lukhum Cheishvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gia Londaridze in the 91st minute of play. Sabir Gadaevi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
