Godmanchester's Tshalkhia Londaridze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Arnăuțoiu in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taka Andrzheevskiy in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tshalkhia Londaridze saved Godmanchester from getting behind. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for FC BARCELONA. Okhoropir Londaridze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tshalkhia Londaridze. 0-2. Tshalkhia Londaridze came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC BARCELONA's Okhoropir Londaridze. But to his dismay, Okhoropir Londaridze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okhoropir Londaridze in the 27th minute of play forced Godmanchester's goalkeeper Tshalkhia Londaridze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Soso Aragvsky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Ignatiy Sulaberidze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Soso Aragvsky. FC BARCELONA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignatiy Sulaberidze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 32nd minute, Ivan Arnăuțoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BARCELONA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Godmanchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marat Labadze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Taka Andrzheevskiy made a precise shot to the right of Tshalkhia Londaridze. Godmanchester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After 44 minutes of play, FC BARCELONA's Ivan Arnăuțoiu made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tshalkhia Londaridze was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bidzina Pawletko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tshalkhia Londaridze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignatiy Sulaberidze to strike the kick off in the second half. Tshalkhia Londaridze was a little too slow when Ivan Arnăuțoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-8. Taka Andrzheevskiy took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tshalkhia Londaridze. Tshalkhia Londaridze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. Tshalkhia Londaridze was a little too slow when Ivan Arnăuțoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-10. Godmanchester's Tshalkhia Londaridze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Godmanchester from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Ivan Arnăuțoiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tshalkhia Londaridze. The goal made the score 1-11. In the 73rd minute, FC BARCELONA's Taka Andrzheevskiy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-13. FC BARCELONA made a substitution. Zviadi Gogava replaced Ivan Arnăuțoiu. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Zviadi Gogava took a quick shot and it went in 1-14 without a chance for Tshalkhia Londaridze to make any attempt to save it. Tshalkhia Londaridze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zviadi Gogava went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-15 was the resulting score. Zviadi Gogava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tshalkhia Londaridze having to interfere. Tshalkhia Londaridze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zviadi Gogava, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With an all-out effort, FC BARCELONA's Tshalkhia Londaridze threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zviadi Gogava, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaba Dzotsenidze charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaba Dzotsenidze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in FC BARCELONA's zone, Mindia Shalikashvili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soso Aragvsky came out of the goal and Mindia Shalikashvili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
