An unexpectedly hard shot by Üzeyir Sälimov in the 26th minute of play forced Gorgoniya's goalkeeper Mähärräm Cäfärquliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Saatlı IC's goal looked a bit too open when Qara Yunisov came free, but Alxaz Bahadov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Saatlı IC booed when Gorgoniya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namizäd Hüseynov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baxış Ibadov came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Saatlı IC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baxış Ibadov couldn't finish the play. When Gorgoniya's Veyis Äbhäzov in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saatlı IC's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the game, Aqil Xudiyev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alxaz Bahadov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veyis Äbhäzov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Qara Yunisov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alxaz Bahadov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Saatlı IC's zone, Äläsgär Dadaşov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alxaz Bahadov came out of the goal and Äläsgär Dadaşov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorgoniya's Äläsgär Dadaşov got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alxaz Bahadov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äläsgär Dadaşov in the 78th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Veyis Äbhäzov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saatlı IC's Alxaz Bahadov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Älämdar Abudova kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Älämdar Abudova got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Saatlı IC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Älämdar Abudova to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Veyis Äbhäzov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorgoniya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veyis Äbhäzov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aqil Xudiyev got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Gorgoniya booed when Saatlı IC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aqil Xudiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gorgoniya walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
