In the 10th minute, NEFTCHI BAKU's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Veysäl Hacibäyov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The long shot by Taleh Alahyarov in the 75th minute really tested Abdulhäşim Zakirov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in NEFTCHI BAKU's zone, Ramiz Şamilov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veysäl Hacibäyov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Färzäli Ağacanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veysäl Hacibäyov in the 89th minute of play. Eldäniz Äbhäzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Färzäli Ağacanov having to interfere. Veysäl Hacibäyov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Färzäli Ağacanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Veysäl Hacibäyov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Färzäli Ağacanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fenerbahçe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
