Fazil Ähmädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirsaad Denisov in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Taliş FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sabit Cäbrayilov hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Mirsaad Denisov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neftçala ANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mirsaad Denisov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirsaad Denisov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Neftçala ANS's Räsul Eyvazov in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taliş FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taliş FC's goalkeeper Fazil Ähmädli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Räsul Eyvazov in the 50th minute of play forced Taliş FC's goalkeeper Fazil Ähmädli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Taliş FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neftçala ANS were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Sabit Cäbrayilov made the kick off in the second half. Fazil Ähmädli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Räsul Eyvazov in the 65th minute of the match. Mehdi Vermäzov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Neftçala ANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Vermäzov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Neftçala ANS booed when Taliş FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elman Alahyarov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
