Camaläddin Haqverdiyev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zakir Yusubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zakir Yusubov to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Märäzä MKT's Fariz Seyidov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camaläddin Haqverdiyev. Camaläddin Haqverdiyev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 58 minutes into the match, Zakir Yusubov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camaläddin Haqverdiyev, 0-2. A hard shot by Mövlüd Alduxov from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Camaläddin Haqverdiyev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Camaläddin Haqverdiyev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fariz Seyidov in the 62nd minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Elvin Babakişiyev came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Samux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvin Babakişiyev couldn't finish the play. If Zakir Yusubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Märäzä MKT got a freekick which was hit by Şähriyar Näbiyev. When the match was over Märäzä MKT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Samux throughout the match.
