Ziyad Bäbirov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qäzänfär Tahirov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ağasälim Alimov in the 26th minute of play forced Baku sport's goalkeeper Näbi Nuriyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Baku sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balaş Islamov to maneuver through the defense. Balaş Islamov's late challenge caught a FM BoBi Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balaş Islamov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FM BoBi Fc booed when Baku sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Näbi Nuriyev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ağasälim Alimov went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ziyad Bäbirov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baku sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziyad Bäbirov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qäzänfär Tahirov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Näbi Nuriyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyidäli Älibalalı in the 66th minute of the match. Seyidäli Älibalalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute.
