Neman Cäbiyev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ähmädağa Färruxov's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Seyfäddin Sälimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neman Cäbiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ähmädağa Färruxov in the 13th minute of the match. Seyfäddin Sälimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Neman Cäbiyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bärdä's Seyfäddin Sälimov got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Zeynal-Ziräddin Ağamämmädov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Bärdä's Şahid Balağayev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Neman Cäbiyev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bärdä reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ähmädağa Färruxov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bärdä's supporters rose to their feet, but Ähmädağa Färruxov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neman Cäbiyev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Seyfäddin Sälimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ähmädağa Färruxov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ähmädağa Färruxov managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 73rd minute, Zeynal-Ziräddin Ağamämmädov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Qäbälä's Mätläb Abdulxaliqov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Neman Cäbiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyfäddin Sälimov in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Qäbälä's Qasım Cälilov got a free kick in the 80th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bärdä's Cümşüd Gülmämmädov tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Seyfäddin Sälimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Idris Alverdiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Sadiq Ağamirzadä came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Qäbälä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadiq Ağamirzadä couldn't finish the play. Qäbälä succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bärdä had controlled the match.
