Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilvan Queiroz kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, SanSon's Rahib Balayev got control of the ball when Älirza Alduxov tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Söhrab Israfilov in the 7th minute of play forced Naftalan PFC's goalkeeper Göyüş Abişov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göyüş Abişov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Söhrab Israfilov in the 12th minute of the match. Gilvan Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rahib Balayev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vüqar Älişov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rahib Balayev having to make a save. Abbas Ağakişiyev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mayis Äzizov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Mayis Äzizov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rahib Balayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Älirza Alduxov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SanSon's Rahib Balayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Pietrowski in the 37th minute of play. Rahib Balayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Queiroz in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Söhrab Israfilov in the 47th minute of play forced Naftalan PFC's goalkeeper Göyüş Abişov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Söhrab Israfilov to make the kick off. Natiq Isgändärov charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natiq Isgändärov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the game, Dawid Pietrowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rahib Balayev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rahib Balayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vüqar Älişov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Söhrab Israfilov charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Söhrab Israfilov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the SanSon defense, Vüqar Älişov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rahib Balayev. The SanSon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahib Balayev should have stopped the shot. Aqşin Babazadä blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Göyüş Abişov having to make a save. Göyüş Abişov made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Söhrab Israfilov sent off a good shot on target. Abbas Ağakişiyev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cuma Balacayev hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, SanSon's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Queiroz came free, but Rahib Balayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göyüş Abişov made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Söhrab Israfilov sent off a good shot on target. After 78 played minutes SanSon got a freekick which was hit by Natiq Isgändärov. Dawid Pietrowski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. SanSon's Natiq Isgändärov got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Söhrab Israfilov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göyüş Abişov having to interfere. When Aqşin Babazadä came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SanSon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aqşin Babazadä couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Söhrab Israfilov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Göyüş Abişov, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Naftalan PFC booed when SanSon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Söhrab Israfilov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naftalan PFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
