FK Baku's Julio Corral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eevald Asmer in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Krzynowek in the 18th minute of play forced FK Baku's goalkeeper Julio Corral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Mehdixan Balacayev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdixan Balacayev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Corral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Martinez scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Corral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Corral came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL's Braulio Martinez. But to his dismay, Braulio Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. FK Baku's Julio Corral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Äşräf Ämrahov in the 34th minute of play. Julio Corral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachary Krzynowek's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Rashed Al Hadhod cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Glenn Antheunis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Krzynowek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Zachary Krzynowek put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Corral. With a little luck, FK Baku's Julio Corral got control of the ball when Zachary Krzynowek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Äşräf Ämrahov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Corral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fanático Pirate De BRAZIL made a substitution. Emiliano Volponi replaced Leandro Greco. After 79 minutes FK Baku's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emiliano Volponi who took care of the corner kick. Zachary Krzynowek had several of the FK Baku's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Julio Corral as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julio Corral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polad Denisov in the 86th minute. Julio Corral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Krzynowek, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mehdixan Balacayev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Julio Corral made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Äliş Cabbarov in the 90th minute of play forced FK Baku's goalkeeper Julio Corral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
