Häsän Bädiyev made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Dominik Domeradzki sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Iqbal Babakişiyev came free, but Häsän Bädiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Domeradzki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Häsän Bädiyev came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominik Domeradzki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Gielnik got free with Häsän Bädiyev in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Rüfät Salmanov made a precise shot to the right of José Augusto de Queiroz. Neftci's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 21st minute Camaläddin Bağiyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Häsän Bädiyev made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hubert Gielnik sent off a good shot on target. Häsän Bädiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Domeradzki in the 25th minute of the match. José Augusto de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüfät Salmanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. José Augusto de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasya Utanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Abşeron from getting a goal against them. Häsän Bädiyev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Gielnik in the 35th minute. Rüfät Salmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto de Queiroz having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Mäcid Cümşüdov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Hubert Gielnik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Häsän Bädiyev. Hubert Gielnik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rüfät Salmanov was the one to do the kick off. If Rüfät Salmanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Neftci's Dominik Domeradzki in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abşeron's goalie prevented a goal. After 55 minutes, Dominik Domeradzki made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Gielnik in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Rza Albändayev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Häsän Bädiyev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hubert Gielnik struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Häsän Bädiyev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neftci. Mäcid Cümşüdov kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 71 played minutes, Neftci's Rza Albändayev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Häsän Bädiyev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neftci reached it. Häsän Bädiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Gielnik in the 73rd minute of play. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Islam Ähädli in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Gielnik during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Häsän Bädiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Domeradzki in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Dominik Domeradzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Häsän Bädiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Neftci. Rza Albändayev stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Häsän Bädiyev. 4-1. Rüfät Salmanov took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Augusto de Queiroz. José Augusto de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Häsän Bädiyev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Guter's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Zakir Abdulrazakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Häsän Bädiyev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Neftci had won after a very even match.
