Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fereydoon Fatehi started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fereydoon Fatehi in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iraj Esfahani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohsen Alavi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faramarz Nekounam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Astley AFC's Behrouz Ghobadi in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timsbury United's goalie prevented a goal. When Behrouz Ghobadi came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Astley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Behrouz Ghobadi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Astley AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Morteza Ghanoun hit a great ball. Kamran Mobali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Astley AFC's Behrouz Ghobadi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohsen Alavi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kamran Mobali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Iraj Esfahani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Timsbury United's Kamran Mobali got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Morteza Ghanoun hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Timsbury United got a freekick which was hit by Fereydoon Fatehi. Mohsen Alavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faramarz Nekounam in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faramarz Nekounam made a kick off. Behrouz Ghobadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mohsen Alavi made a huge save. Faramarz Nekounam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mohsen Alavi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Timsbury United's Fereydoon Fatehi in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zartosht Farnoudi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraj Esfahani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Astley AFC's Kamyar Aghazadeh got a free kick in the 70th minute. Iraj Esfahani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamran Mobali in the 71st minute of the match. Kamran Mobali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraj Esfahani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Faramarz Nekounam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohsen Alavi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behrouz Ghobadi got free with Mohsen Alavi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faramarz Nekounam in the 82nd minute of play forced Timsbury United's goalkeeper Mohsen Alavi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Timsbury United getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fariborz Faghih hit a great ball. Mohsen Alavi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Behrouz Ghobadi sent off a good shot on target.
