Sina Jalali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Sina Jalali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wellingborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Sina Jalali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sasan Firoozabadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sahand Ghasemlou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Kouros Babakan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sasan Firoozabadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sina Jalali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sasan Firoozabadi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sina Jalali went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kianoosh Kazemian in the 44th minute of play forced S.S. Lazio's goalkeeper Sasan Firoozabadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navid Faryadshiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kouros Babakan having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Navid Faryadshiran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Wellingborough's Ebi Bengar tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, S.S. Lazio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arash Pahlavi to maneuver through the defense. Wellingborough's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because S.S. Lazio had won, even though Wellingborough had held more of the ball.
