Bahman Hojjati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Denton's goal looked a bit too open when Younes Haghi came free, but Iman Dabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hafez Borhani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bahman Hojjati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Younes Haghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iman Dabir having to interfere. With a little luck, Denton's Iman Dabir got control of the ball when Farshad Sohrabpour tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bahman Hojjati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hafez Borhani's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Bahman Hojjati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafez Borhani in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Amberley City's Ali Javaherian got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Bahman Hojjati successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denton's supporters rose to their feet, but Ehsan Kaebi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahman Hojjati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Ehsan Kaebi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Denton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
