An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahbod Sohrabpour in the 23rd minute of play forced Barnham AFC's goalkeeper Ramin Bozorgzadeh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barnham AFC's Arad Fazel in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orion FC's goalie prevented a goal. Morad Abadian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jahandar Sarlak in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mahbod Sohrabpour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Barnham AFC's Morad Abadian threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jahandar Sarlak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Barnham AFC booed when Orion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hooshang Jahed didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mahbod Sohrabpour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morad Abadian was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hassan Tavakoli. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Arad Fazel put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Morad Abadian. After having played for 72 minutes, Arad Fazel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arad Fazel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arad Fazel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnham AFC's Ramin Bozorgzadeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javad Homayoun in the 79th minute of play. Morad Abadian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jahandar Sarlak in the 88th minute of play. Jahandar Sarlak might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Morad Abadian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jahandar Sarlak ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arad Fazel got free with Morad Abadian in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Barnham AFC's Morad Abadian threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jahandar Sarlak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Barnham AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
