When Heydar Hatami came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chorley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heydar Hatami couldn't finish the play. After 98 played minutes Chorley got a freekick which was hit by Ardavan Ghomi. When the final whistle sounded Chorley left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elsdon AFC.
