In the 7th minute, Rawdon United's Karim Behjat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karim Behjat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rawdon United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karim Behjat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 14 minutes of play, Rawdon United's Asghar Kaebi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peyman Taslimi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asghar Kaebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Ramtin Khakpour suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Asghar Kaebi charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asghar Kaebi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Heybridge Basin FC booed when Rawdon United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asghar Kaebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gholam Reza Moradian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyman Taslimi having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Heybridge Basin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farshad Omidvar to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Mostafa Aghazadeh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Asghar Kaebi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rawdon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asghar Kaebi couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javeed Ahmadzadeh made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rawdon United's Asghar Kaebi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After having played for 57 minutes, Asghar Kaebi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rawdon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asghar Kaebi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javeed Ahmadzadeh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kouros Montazeri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Asghar Kaebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Heybridge Basin FC's Peyman Taslimi got control of the ball when Gholam Reza Moradian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Gholam Reza Moradian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rawdon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gholam Reza Moradian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Peyman Taslimi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mostafa Aghazadeh. Javeed Ahmadzadeh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mostafa Aghazadeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyman Taslimi having to interfere. After some careless play in the Heybridge Basin FC defense, Asghar Kaebi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peyman Taslimi. The Heybridge Basin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peyman Taslimi should have stopped the shot.
