Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heydar Hatami started the match with the kick off. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for New Milton City. Farjad Asadi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi. 0-1. Chorley's Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mani Kianian in the 24th minute of play. Fariborz Sharifinasab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Anoush Kavianpour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fariborz Sharifinasab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bijan Jalaeepour in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Bijan Jalaeepour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Milton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bijan Jalaeepour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mani Kianian made the kick off in the second half. Jafar Zahedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Rezaei having to interfere. Fariborz Sharifinasab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Rezaei having to interfere. Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Farjad Asadi. Fariborz Sharifinasab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gholam Rezaei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Fariborz Sharifinasab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fariborz Sharifinasab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Milton City's goalkeeper Gholam Rezaei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
