Heydar Hatami might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peyman Taslimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heydar Hatami ran back to his position shaking his head. Chorley's Heydar Hatami got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Peyman Taslimi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fariborz Sharifinasab sped through Heybridge Basin FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peyman Taslimi. If Javeed Ahmadzadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Kamran Nekounam made a precise shot to the right of Shahrokh Nikbakht-Vahedi. Chorley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Heydar Hatami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heybridge Basin FC's Peyman Taslimi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Heydar Hatami's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peyman Taslimi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Heybridge Basin FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty!
