A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Faraz Nekounam elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st match minute, Aldridge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faraz Nekounam to maneuver through the defense. When Haydock United's Fariborz Hosseini in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aldridge United's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 played minutes Haydock United got a freekick which was hit by Sattar Mahdavikia. Kayvan Rostampour was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Siavash Ghayeghran made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fariborz Hosseini to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Haydock United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kayvan Rostampour walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Faraz Nekounam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Younes Maleki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, one of Haydock United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Haydock United. The referee gave Aldridge United a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kayvan Rostampour, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haydock United's Siavash Ghayeghran. 2-0. Haydock United's Siavash Ghayeghran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Faraz Nekounam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siavash Ghayeghran. Haydock United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faraz Nekounam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Faraz Nekounam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldridge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Faraz Nekounam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siavash Ghayeghran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Aldridge United's Hafez Fatemi got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Fariborz Hosseini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yashar Alizadeh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siavash Ghayeghran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Haydock United's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi came free, but Siavash Ghayeghran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yashar Alizadeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fariborz Hosseini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match Kayvan Rostampour shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siavash Ghayeghran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Faraz Nekounam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siavash Ghayeghran having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Faraz Nekounam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Siavash Ghayeghran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Siavash Ghayeghran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aldridge United fully deserved thier win.
